This detailed eLearning course offers a step-by-step guide on setting up the Symphony® breast pump, including the use of breast milk collection sets. You’ll learn when to select Initiation and 2-Phase technology to effectively initiate, build, and maintain milk supply.
This course is part of an educational package designed to enhance your knowledge and confidence in using the Symphony® breast pump.
A separate Symphony In-service course for US and Canada is available.
Objectives
Upon completion of this program, the participant will be able to
Describe and navigate the features of the Symphony® breast pump.
- Understand and discuss the two Symphony pumping programs and when to use.
- Assemble the Symphony breast pump kit.
- Explain to a HCP, rental agent or end user when to switch from the Symphony® breast pump Initiate to Maintain program.
- Discuss the value of double pumping, maximum comfort vacuum and correctly fitted breast shields and apply pumping best practices to end users and HCPs in clinical settings.
